17 Supreme Shine Lipstick (with Femme Noir Free Gift)

I cant resist most things in a shiny pretty packaging so when 17 chucked in a little free incentive by the name of Femme Noir gift set with my Supreme Shine Lipsticks (£4.99 each), i was yet again... at the checkout.

I'm always impressed with 17 lipsticks so i didn't think twice when picking up these shades, Pink Posey and Barely Blush. Like most of their lipsticks they are very moisturising, i think that's what keeps me going back to them especially in the winter time, remember kids, no one likes a chapped set of smackers!

The free gift contains
  • 17 Ultimate Volume Lip Gloss in Very Berry
  • 17 Glitter Eyeshadow in Night Sky
  • 17 Liquid Liner in Black
I've previously purchased a very similar shade of Very Berry lip gloss so its a bonus to have a back-up, as for the glitter eyeshadow, i tend to keep away from these but hey I'm an open minded kinda gal. I think the liquid liner has to be the pick pick out of the lot, its an intense colour and very easy to apply something that i think most people look for in a liquid liner.
Someone say Christmas party? Chiche-Cheesay! ;)

17 BB Blemish Balm

I could rave about 17 cosmetics all day, i think for the price the quality is unbeatable. So, when I'd seen the odd tweet flying around from privileged bloggers who had managed to get there hands on the the 17 BB cream (£6.99) early saying how great it was, i wanted it there and then!
As soon as it hit the store, i was there, BB (Medium) in hand at the checkout of my local Boots.

The wonder cream promises to transform your complexion and cover imperfections in one easy step. Eee excited much.
Considering the cream is a primer, foundation, concealer and skincare in one tube i found it to be weightless and very easy to blend, leaving no unsightly streaks. What i like about the cream most it that it doest leave me feeling like I'm sporting a 'cakeface' with my complexion being less than perfect at the moment (darn man flu!) i feel like i need several layers of the heavy duty stuff to give me a half decent complexion but I'm wearing this today and it seems to be doing the job so far.
This combined with my alllll time fave 17 Hide and Chic Concealer (must do a review i use it all the time) is sure to become a staple in my make up bag.

To die by your side, is such a heavenly way to die...

Here's some pictures from my weekend, well mainly Saturday seen as I've had a serious lazy day today :)

First stop, Starbucks. The boy is a serious coffee head, like literally obsessed and unable to function without it, its a little worrying haha. So, here i am sat in the corner (unfortunate!) snug as a bug in my crombie coat and faux fur stole - I was grateful for the chill in the air, I'm actually in love with the coat!
The continental markets are here in the city centre so it was nice to take a stroll around them and have a nosey at the different things they had to offer, we stopped at this cute little silver stall, all the jewellery was from Poland and i set my heart on a oddly shaped green stoned ring pictured below 'With Love from Poland'! We stopped off for lunch, then hit the streets for a little more shopping...
Oh and if your wondering about the Cousin It photo... this would be me debating whether i should get a fringe or not!!! Ha.

I picked up the Urban Decay Naked palette (yes, about 50 years after everyone else!), this seriously dangerous necklace from Topshop, an angel winged ring, and a cute peace sign vest from ARK... yes a vest in October?! i have no thought behind my actions.

Your the one...

I'm absolutely in love...

Sweet Kiss Naturel lipstick - 06 Rose Tendre

Oddly enough i have never tried Bourjois lip products in the past so I'm not sure what spurred me to buy this lovely, but heck I'm sure glad i did. Ive worn it religiously, to work and to play!
There has only ever been one other go to lipstick I've had and that's Rimmel Nude Delight, but i pretty much used and abused that so much that its now just a mere little nub heh. so i definitely needed another lover.

"100% natural formula
100% radiant shades

All the benefits of Nature in one lipstick!

Its formula of 100% natural origin brings radiance and care to lips.

Enriched with magnolia oil and shea butter, its melting formula intensely nourishes lips, leaving them supple and providing them with 8 hours of moisture.

The intense and radiant shades illuminate your lips thanks to the 100% natural pigments selected for their purity and benefits: antioxidant green tea and soothing rose.

8 shades ranging from the most natural to the most sophisticated and from softer to more sensuous hues, for naturally beautiful lips!"

Sounds lovely, Yes?

Presents... For me?

To, me

From, well... me

Ooh La Lift

What Benefit say:

Why we love it: Legendary under-eye brightening boost...this delicate pink balm is like an instant eyelift!

What else you need to know: Contains raspberry extracts and light-reflecting pigments to instantly perk up tired eyes. Can be applied on bare skin or over makeup.

What I say:

Why i love it: This has become a staple piece in my morning routine and I'm not one to hype a product that doesn't work so take my word for it, it really does!
It makes my eyes looks instantly brighter!

What else you need to know: I was advised by the make up artist at the Benefit counter to mix a little with my Erase Paste and that's what I've been doing ever since i bought it, works a treat.

Erase Paste

What Benefit say:

Why we love it: This concentrated, creamy concealer brightens and camouflages in one easy step! Targets dark circles, discoloration and imperfections.

What else you need to know: Three shades with brightening melon undertones to suit every complexion. Comes complete with a fully illustrated, step-by-step lesson and mini-spatula for easy application.

What I say:

Why I love it: The tiniest amount goes a long way, banishes (OK hides!) dark circles and any other blemishes you don't want to be seen in a quick swipe and dab dab pat. Ta'da!

What else you need to know: As i said before, works great with Ooh La Lift also helps to warm it up a little beforehand, makes applying a whole lot easier.

Porefessional

What Benefit say:

Why we love it: Quickly minimize the appearance of pores! Apply this silky, lightweight balm for translucent pore coverage and smoother-than-smooth skin. Pores... now you see 'em, now you don't!
What else you need to know: Lesson included! - Oil-free for a silky smooth finish.

What I say:

Why i love it: As well as doing a great job of giving my skin that smooth as a baby's bottom texture it also smells amaaaaazzzzing!!! when i first tried this i spent the whole afternoon wondering what smelt so damn good, Oh... its just my face! :p

What else you need to know: This works great over make up too, gives a mattifying effect which is great for oily skin (a more than likely common issue if you've open pores).

Not forgetting... a FREEEEEBIE!!! Highbeam

I decided to get high beam as I've already got the full size posietint and a mini benetint.

I got a mini high beam in the Celebutante palette and loved it hence the tough choice.

(I'm kicking myself for not getting all 3 tbh!)

What Benefit products are you loving atm???

A quick pick

During my lunch i made a quick dash into Topshop to evade the rain, in there i spotted these...

Black oversize seventies style plastic frame sunglasses with metal temple detail.
These came with a simple but cute polka dot fabric case. £16.00
I've just returned from Tenerife so I’m still in holiday mode, plus I’m planning another so if i don’t get they rays in good old England I’m sure I’ll capture them elsewhere

And…

Set of Three Moisturising Lip Polishes £14.00
Set containing three full size shades of lip polish for shiny, moisturising colour in shades of brown. Contains Iced Coffee, Coral and Truffle.

I've been wearing iced coffee at work as its pretty subtle, close to a nude shade next to my natural lip colouring. Coral, Iced Coffee and Truffle

I think the Coral would have suited perfectly on holiday (but i'll still be sporting it at the weekend) and the Truffle with its speckls of gold is a sure hit for the nights out.

Have you ever tried Topshops range of cosmetics, what do you thinks worth trying?
