Insp. #Cut offs

Thats it now, im over it... having dodged death by rain pour today i've decided im ready for summer, heck i id even settle for a bit of Spring time.

Bit of a grouch today as it was my first day back at work after 2 weeks of lazing around, eating lots of yummy food and watching old movies. I really didn't want to venture in to the rain/sleet/hale blizzard that was going on outside! but hey ho the day went by pretty quickly even if i did spend it looking like a drowned rat sporting a quiff gone wrong hiding in the corner!

Anyhow, much to my delight i arrived home to a pair of light wash vintage Levis which i oddly enough ordered mid december time.

I guess sunshine aint coming anytime soon, so, I suppose for now i can pair them with thick tights and cable knits whilst i patiently await the arrival of warmth created by the SUN!... remember that kids? I assure you, its amazeballs.

Dress: ASOS

Hat: Charity/Its not vintage stupid...

When i purchased the (last, woop!) supercalifragilisticexpialidocious laptop case in acid yellow *gasm* i also couldn't resist this little number. I'd had my lil eye on this shift dress for some time, so when i spied it in the sale section whilst trawling through ASOS i had a OhEmmgeee get that tartan in my arms moment.
I think its pretty cass, chuck carefully shimmy on a pair of tights and Chelsea boots and your set for the day, but i cant wait to take it out for a night on tiles... I'm pretty tempted to take the laptop case too! ha.
Safe to say im totally taking advantage of the lovely ASOS upping me to premium status over the Christmas period. some serious ASOS loving.

Anyone else been splurging on unnecessary items?

Time to channel my inner 1950's pinup starlet! I think I'm going to try out the 'Victory roll' very Betty Page/ Dita Von Teese, depending which century you come from of course.

I'll be sure to post pics if a venture on to the 'kinky' burlesque side of life.

Oh and if you hadn't noticed I'm crushing HARD on Zooey Deschanel, i love her quirkiness in both her acting and sense of style.
