Palmer's Dark Chocolate and Peppermint Butter

My lips have been taking some serious winter weather bashing so in a desperate attempt to salvage them i picked up Palmers Dark Chocolate and Peppermint Butter (£2.75) from boots which contains pure Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E, Petrolatum and Peppermint oil which leave you a little tingly ;)
I have two words for you Totes Amaze... Oh, and another two Must Have.
Not only does this smell amazing and oddly enough taste amazing for a 'lip balm' it actually does what it promises to do, a rarity in most cases. It softened and moisturised my lips from the very first use and left a lovely non sticky glossy shine on my pout :) deeelightful. Safe to say this has been carried around with me since the day i bought it.

I'll wait for you

I wore this outfit to my nephews birthday party on Saturday, and yes before you ask my priorities do lay around trying to upstage the 4yr old birthday boy ha ;)
Everything is from New Look minus the cuff and belt, they my friend are from good old Primark.
My lack of posts has mainly been down to my shitty luck with technology. i opened my infuriating laptop to find the dreaded screen of death - Aaargh! BUT then *superman tune please* it just so happens my brother in-law was after shifting his MacBook air! Well Hellloooooo blessing in disguise.

This is Nicole reporting from the almighty MacBook Air, soon to be protected by this sexual thing. Gaaah L.O.V.E

NOTD - Models Own #Champagne

I'm neither yay or nay about this polish, don't get me wrong its shiny, pretty and an in between take on the usual silver & gold shades, but sadly no match for the daily wear and tear i must put on my nails.
Just after one day it chipped badly, so with a swipe it was gone.
I dont know if i was just expecting too much from Models Own, after all the only other colour i own is Juicy Jules and well, we all know that Juicy Jules is well known for her durability and pain in the arse task of removal!

Let me know if your experience is different or if you have any colours you think are a must, i've really jumped on the nail polish wagon again this month.
Loves :)

Please Santa...

Please Santa...

I'd like to think I've been a pretty good girl this year, so i don't see why i shouldn't get my mitts on the above... but, if Santa isn't knocking around on blogger, I've put them in viewing point of the lovely Mr :) "HI MR!!!"

17 Supreme Shine Lipstick (with Femme Noir Free Gift)

I cant resist most things in a shiny pretty packaging so when 17 chucked in a little free incentive by the name of Femme Noir gift set with my Supreme Shine Lipsticks (£4.99 each), i was yet again... at the checkout.

I'm always impressed with 17 lipsticks so i didn't think twice when picking up these shades, Pink Posey and Barely Blush. Like most of their lipsticks they are very moisturising, i think that's what keeps me going back to them especially in the winter time, remember kids, no one likes a chapped set of smackers!

The free gift contains
  • 17 Ultimate Volume Lip Gloss in Very Berry
  • 17 Glitter Eyeshadow in Night Sky
  • 17 Liquid Liner in Black
I've previously purchased a very similar shade of Very Berry lip gloss so its a bonus to have a back-up, as for the glitter eyeshadow, i tend to keep away from these but hey I'm an open minded kinda gal. I think the liquid liner has to be the pick pick out of the lot, its an intense colour and very easy to apply something that i think most people look for in a liquid liner.
Someone say Christmas party? Chiche-Cheesay! ;)

17 BB Blemish Balm

I could rave about 17 cosmetics all day, i think for the price the quality is unbeatable. So, when I'd seen the odd tweet flying around from privileged bloggers who had managed to get there hands on the the 17 BB cream (£6.99) early saying how great it was, i wanted it there and then!
As soon as it hit the store, i was there, BB (Medium) in hand at the checkout of my local Boots.

The wonder cream promises to transform your complexion and cover imperfections in one easy step. Eee excited much.
Considering the cream is a primer, foundation, concealer and skincare in one tube i found it to be weightless and very easy to blend, leaving no unsightly streaks. What i like about the cream most it that it doest leave me feeling like I'm sporting a 'cakeface' with my complexion being less than perfect at the moment (darn man flu!) i feel like i need several layers of the heavy duty stuff to give me a half decent complexion but I'm wearing this today and it seems to be doing the job so far.
This combined with my alllll time fave 17 Hide and Chic Concealer (must do a review i use it all the time) is sure to become a staple in my make up bag.

I'm gonna pick up the pieces and build a lego house

Hi lovelies,
I've not been around for the past few days because a) it was the Mr's birthday and b) I've been soooo ill, Who knew women could get Man Flu?!
Part of me felt guilty for rotting away on the sofa all day on the boys birthday but then again i think he appreciated it, after all one of the presents  i got him was Call of Duty MW3 and well he played it 5 hours straight... Not healthy!
Anyhow this is just a short note just to say Hi, I'm alive and got a few posts coming up. Most being reviews because, well, i didn't want my icky death face appearing in them ha.
