Playing the waiting game

I've a few things on order which i cant wait to get my hands on.
expect plenty of reviews over the next few weeks or depending on when they arrive as some are in very high demand!

Things on order
  • Nip and Fab Frown Fix - Ive been dying to get my hands on this product for quite some time now, i went in to boots 3 times in a week because a sales assistant said it was due in... (nothing out of the norm really!) Anyhow after tweeting about my despair the lovely Nip and Fab got back to me and suggested i order direct from them as they always ship to their customers before any company or store, so i did.
  • Jewellery from LOVEHEARTS AND CROSSES jewellery.
  • Jewellery from GiftGirls
Update: as of today we can add a sneaky little ASOS order on to the waiting list ;)

Excited!

"Shopping is cheaper than therapy"

I've been a busy little bunny lately and thought it would only be right to show you the pretties I've bought recently.A side note: Primark is a dangerous place! even if you don't want, need or have any intention of buying anything, you will... its a given.

I decided to pick up a few bits for the days i will be spending at Leeds Festival, Oh and some for well just the sake of them being pretty i suppose.

Top: Primark £6.00*
Shorts: River Island (Previous purchase)

Top: Vintage
Shorts: Primark £10.00

Top: H&M £5.00*
Shorts: Primark £10.00
(seen them before? I couldn't decide on the dark denim or the light so i um got both?!)

Earings: Primark £1.00, £2.00, £2.00
Feathers are absolutely everywhere at the moment, on earings, necklaces and even hair extensions??!! (I'll be grabbing some of those soon!) I love how the orange just pops on the white and you cant really go wrong with classic black, last but not least the peacock (love)

Earings: Select £2.99
I love a cute pair of earings and cute these are.

Nail Varnish: Select (BeautyUK) £5.00*
These nail polishes were a cheap and cheerful purchase, they cost around £5.00 for 6 small bottles. The colours are gorgeous but they do require a few coats (above picture: 4 coats along with a top coat)

Shoes: Select £25.00I very rarely if ever go in to select but i saw these in the window and couldn't resist trying them on... which lead to buying them.
Cork & Nude = Had to have them, perfect the summer wardrobe

Shoes: Garage shoes £35.00
Although i fear for my ankles when wearing these they are remarkably comfy and i LOVE a good sky scrapper heel! I've been pairing them with everything from maxis to my all time fave Topshop skinnies.

Sleek - GLO Face and Body Highlighter

Sleek - GLO Face and Body Highlighter
Shade: Peach shimmer

Another great product from the Sleek makeup range and I'm still amazed at the quality especially at the bargain price it is selling for.
Although a bit on the shimmery side (clue in the title i suppose!) i blame my heavy handed applying method, this will be my go to product for the summer, I'll make note to apply sparingly as a little certainly goes a long way.
The palette consists of pretty peachy tones ranging from dark bronze to an almost white highlighter and in combination work little shimmery wonders.

A quick pick

During my lunch i made a quick dash into Topshop to evade the rain, in there i spotted these...

Black oversize seventies style plastic frame sunglasses with metal temple detail.
These came with a simple but cute polka dot fabric case. £16.00
I've just returned from Tenerife so I’m still in holiday mode, plus I’m planning another so if i don’t get they rays in good old England I’m sure I’ll capture them elsewhere

And…

Set of Three Moisturising Lip Polishes £14.00
Set containing three full size shades of lip polish for shiny, moisturising colour in shades of brown. Contains Iced Coffee, Coral and Truffle.

I've been wearing iced coffee at work as its pretty subtle, close to a nude shade next to my natural lip colouring. Coral, Iced Coffee and Truffle

I think the Coral would have suited perfectly on holiday (but i'll still be sporting it at the weekend) and the Truffle with its speckls of gold is a sure hit for the nights out.

Have you ever tried Topshops range of cosmetics, what do you thinks worth trying?
