Summertime Sadness

Summertime Sadness

I'm waving farewell to summer, if that is in fact what we have been experiencing over the past few months?
Out come the jumpers in all there cosiness glory and hello my old friends chelsea boots.
I'm shopping like I'm prepping for a trip to Antarctica, so here are a few of my latest purchase (latest as in ordered 20 minutes ago) all essentials obviously!  Tube scarf, to hide behind from the ice age which i obviously think I'll be experiencing, bowler hat to hide that wind swept mess of mine that some may refer to as hair?! Angora jumper, need i say more? its soft pink... slightly hairy? and is advertised by Lana biggest girl crush ever! Oh and this over sized ring for those times where you experience cold knuckles?

Walk down 34 Boulevard street...

Its very rare that a buy perfume, I'm just not one of those kinda girls. Don't get me wrong I like to smell nice but i rarely feel the need to stand sniffing endless perfumes to see what grabs me...
deodorant is shamefully the only scent that lingers my body (eek) , until I smelt 34 boulevard saint germain.
It's a unisex Eau de toilette and I was instantly drawn to the masculinity of it, little odd that I prefer to smell like a man that a flirty flowery girly girl but hey ho.

To quote 34 boulevard saint germain is a fragrance celebrating Diptyque’s 50th anniversary. 34 encapsulates the scent of its first boutique located on 34 boulevard saint germain with rare and precious fragrances. The result is a fragrance that has an innovative and complex signature.

Developed around a chypre backbone, the base notes of wood and balms add comfort and create addiction. It is a rich and voluptuous fragrance which is suitable for men and women.

The famous oval-shaped label is printed on the boxes and determined the shape of the eau de toilette’s glass bottle. 34 boulevard saint germain engraved on the black Bakelite magnetic cap like stamp. The concave base of the bottle evokes the rounded form of the paperweights sold at 34 boulevard saint germain.

34 boulevard saint germain EDT - 50ml £60 - 100ml £85

Its difficult to review a perfume on a blog after all you cant smell it... youd have to take my word for it. And do, its amazing if not slightly addictive.

NOTD: Revlon Red

Revlon Red (680) - £6.49

I'm a sucker for a classic red, theres so many takes on the colour that after reading review upon review i thought one more being added to the collection couldn't hurt could it?!
This is my first Revlon nail enamel and my initial thoughts?... Go invest!
The consistency is thick and 'creamy' without being clumpy and clogging up the brush I'll definitely be purchasing others! I personally feel the colour is a little darker IRL than in pictures but its still a fave, after all you cant really go wrong with a classic red manicure.

Nothing basic about you

Apologies for the shocking pictures, stolen (can you steal from yourself) from my Insta... yes again.
I'm a budding artist what with my filters!
I received this "Just because" gift from my fella... i love just because gifts, they make me feel so spoilt! which i also love Aha.
So, here is my lovely bran spanking new shiny bag that Zara ever so rudely classed as 'basic'.
How very dare they, I'm walking around with this perched on my arm as it it were a Hermes not a mere £40 bag from Zara. i do love it lots.
Zara is popping up on blogs all over the sphere, all too rightly as well! they have some amazing things in this season, im desperate for the yellow zip waist blazer and shirt with studded collar eeep <3

Hope you all had a fab weekend lovelies.

Cloud Nine

I was soooo excited to find that my parcel arrived a lot earlier than expected yesterday morning. I managed to find (with a little help of a fellow instagramer) the most amazing bracelet going, So much so that i had to and i stress the words had to buy it in both colours.
The Cloud Nine bracelet is a chunky double wrap chain style bracelet that is surprisingly lightweight in comparison to its appearance!

It is available in a few colours, but i fell head over heels in love with the gold and silver version after spotting it on Instagram... but then, i spotted it in Rose Gold too. Eeeeep.

L: Cloud Nine in Silver & Gold (£13.53)

R: Cloud Nine in Rose Gold (£16.11)

You can get the Cloud Nine bracelet from LoveChiChi over at Etsy here
I can not fault her, i received a prompt reply everytime i had a quibble over the postage from Australia to the UK and postage was estimated to be 2 weeks but they arrived a little over a week later. Yaysome.
I will definitely buy from Love ChiChi again, i have my beady little magpie-eye on her amazing selection of chunky necklaces.

Boots for Summer

White Limited Edition Chelsea Boots // Nighthawk Studded Chelsea Boots
Need and want both in my life.
These would look just perfect with any summer dress, especially the grey t-shirt dress from Primark (£8) that has been knocking around on blogs here, there and everywhere. I've bagged mine! Cant blame us, blatant rip off of the Topshop version (£25) at just a fraction of the price. I heart Primark, you crafty thing!
Hope to have pictures of me wearing mine with either (or both) pair of these boots over the weekend... we'll see.

You like your girls insane

Morning petals!

Little OOTN from Saturday night. Tee from Primark, Boots (unseen) Fearn from Boohoo and Disco Pants in midnight navy from American Apparel.

I adore my disco pants so much so that i most definitely need them in every colour! shame about the hefty £70 price tag though hey.
AA Disco pants have been slap dashed on every blog post near and far, its probably down to them that i requested a pair for Christmas as i thought i couldn't justify spending so much on a simple pair of trousers, but no, they are so much more than that! they nip, cinch and give you the smoothest silhouette and believe you me my hips and bottom need that smooth silhouette ;)!!
Next on my list are the black ones, simple and classic. You can pair with almost anything, but theres a little part of me that's daring me to  venture out of my comfort zone and purchase the purple ones?!

Do any of you own the disco pants? Which colour do you have? Any suggested colours?

Home sweet home

Hi lovelies :)
So I did a little after work shopping yesterday, I mainly went to see if H&M had the Spring/Summer collection out as I'm head over heels in love with a mint two piece short suit that is being highly lusted after but that's a different story for a different blog post...
Anyhow, it is pretty much sinful to pass by Primark when shopping so I popped in, no intention on buying anything, well not much.
There I stumbled across these, Patchwork throw and assortment of pillow covers. Awh, beyond lovable

Oh, and a few little last touches...

I love how i was able to give the bedroom a mini  makeover and for a mere £25 (not including candles) in total you really cant go wrong!
Patchwork throw £15 Pillow covers £2.50 each! Ah good old Primark.

If you follow me on Instagram you will have more than likely seen the pictures but if not and would like to you can find me: @nicole_leanne

Enjoy the rest of your weekend x

Oh yes it sures does! and more so when they are offering 22% off orders.
Some of you may have already seen this offer flying around in the odd email but if not i do like to share a little treat with my followers and readers :)
All you have to do is enter MOTELVCFEB22 at the checkout, offer expires 1st March 2012.
Although its the end of the month and i should be scrimping and scraping the savings to get me through the next week running up to pay day (hallelujah, also Mothers 50th is not cheap!) I've seen a few beauts that I'm destined to get my hands on.

OK, so i realise the offer is not 90% off and i should really narrow my options down... That's something i'll look to do later.
Enjoy spending girlies xxx
